Cost of Establishing a New APS Company

• A fee of 670 DKK was paid to the government, not including VAT.
• A fee of 1,295 DKK was paid to the lawyer, plus VAT.
• An approximate amount of 3,000 DKK was paid to a specialist company for help in establishing a new ApS company.

THE INITIAL CAPITAL IS TRANSFERRED TO THE COMPANY AFTER REGISTRATION

To register the ApS company, the initial capital of DKK 40,000 is transferred to the lawyer's bank account for verification. The lawyer will subtract their fee of DKK 1,295 plus VAT and a government fee of DKK 670 from the initial equity. Once deducted, the remaining amount of DKK 37,711.25 will be transferred to the new bank account of the ApS company, which must be opened in the company's name.

YOU CAN SPEND YOUR EQUITY FOR BUSINESS EXPENSES

Once the business registration is complete and the equity has been transferred to the company's bank account, you can start using the money to cover business expenses. It is not necessary to keep the equity in the bank account. However, it's important to follow certain rules regarding the types of expenses that are allowed. Only actual company expenses can be incurred, and owners are not permitted to withdraw money from the company account for personal use, unless it is in the form of a salary or dividend for reimbursable company expenses.
